Reducing the power consumed by the satellites' payloads (parabolic antennas, phased arrays, and lasers) to improve raise rates of orbit transferring satellites, reduce overheating, and save more power for actual beam forming.

Primarily worked on writing a tool to verify simulation results. Spent a bit of time on impact detection.

Flight Software Engineer Intern (May '20 - Sep '20)

Primarily worked on the satellite's parabolic antenna power control software. Also brought up a peripheral for the ground station sites to improve performance in the winter.

Tesla

Electronics, Firmware & Test Engineer Intern (Jan '20 - May '20)

Primarily worked on the thermal controller (i.e. making pumps go "plonk" and fans go "whirrr") for the Powerwall, Megapack, and Solar Inverter. Did a bit of work on the high-voltage bus controller (i.e. ideally not making things go "boom").
